How do you do it?

How do you do it?
I would love to create cute things like all of you wonderful bloggers. Especially on TPT.those are some great items! I just dont know how you do it. How do you make it look so cute and nice? Do you buy clipart? What program do you create it in? Powerpoint? Word? Publisher? I want to include some freebies on my site but I dont know how. Thank you to all my fellow blogger buddies!

Hey, Kim, I'm trying to figure all that out as well. So far I believe the cute things are done using digital scrapbooking clip arts and backgrounds. Most of the people download the fonts. I believe most of the documents are originally created on word with some fine tuning of text boxes and bringing pictures forward or back of texts.

I'm trying to figure out if I should get a blog started.

Good luck on the creating.

I will keep trying different things until I get it right :) I think you should start a blog, give it a try!

Thanks for the comments!

Hi Kymberly! I've been making things for years and use just Word or Publisher.

I think the biggest thing is gathering yourself an arsenal of fonts! A great font can make anything look better... and figure out how to do cool things with shapes and borders with Word or Publisher.

I also use graphics from Thistle Girl, DJ Inkers, Scrappin' Doodles, and even just regular Microsoft Clip Art.

Happy creating!

:)

Hi Kymberly! I am a third grade teacher, I just started a blog, and I'm working on items for a TPT store so we are in the same boat!

I have used clip art and digital scrapbooking kits from dj inkers and just so scrappy too respectively. The dj inkers clip art cannot be used for commercial purposes, only for free printables, so be sure to check the terms of use on everything you buy!

I have made most of my printables so far in power point and I save them as PDF or jpeg files if I plan to share them! I have downloaded free printables to google docs and I plan to share some of them on my blog soon!

I just wrote my first post today so there isn't much there yet, but I'd love for you to check it out! Hope some of my info helped!
